Statistical information demonstrates Wayne County schools are on par with the surrounding metropolitan areas and the region. There are five public school districts in the county as well as a number of private school alternatives. Two vocational career centers serve the county with one located at Richmond High School. Western Wayne students are served by the Whitewater Career Center in Fayette County.
